The Democratic Primary Election is weeks away! Are you ready to vote on June 24th? Here's all the information you need to know to make your vote count.



How do I register to vote, change my address or party affiliation?

You must do so by June 3rd at 9pm. You can do so in person at the Montgomery County Board of Elections (18753 North Frederick Avenue, Suite 210, Gaithersburg) or register online here.


How do I request an absentee ballot?

You must request an absentee ballot by June 17th, if you want to receive your ballot by mail/fax. You can find a paper absentee ballot application hereIf you want to download a ballot from the State's website, your request must be in by June 20th.


When does early voting start?

Early voting is June 12  to June 19, from 10am - 8pm at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center, Mid-County Community Recreation Center in Silver Spring, and at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg. (These are the closest centers for District 19 voters. However, you can vote at any early voting center in Montgomery County.) You can see the full list of early voting sites here.


When and where can I vote on June 24th?
